Visit Columbia City

( 3.5 Minute read)

Columbia City is protected as a Seattle Historical District due to it’s long and rich history as a faction of the city

Though a sector of Seattle, for many residents of the Seward Park area, this little street has embraced its name and become a city of its own. It provides community, entertainment, and a variety of independent businesses.

Some of Columbia City’s most popular small businesses are detailed below. Check them out on a rainy Sunday for some cozy, heartwarming fun, or meander through frequently if you’re new to the neighborhood. Either way, you’re bound to find friendly people and a sense of belonging.

 Geraldine’s Counter

As home to Seattle’s best French Toast, this neighborhood’s favorite restaurant has lines that wrap around the building for brunch every weekend. Trust me, the wait is well worth it. With a scrumptious selection of breakfast and lunch options, the American diner satisfies every time. What’s more, they have plenty of choices for those with dietary restrictions, making this traditional inner-city eatery welcoming to all.
